Centene gets what it deserves. BTW, I just left Greenland but can't publish my photos on FascBook because I can't verify that I'm me -- if I'm in Greenland. Catch 22! And I now get Medicare but what will happen if the BBB gets passed? Both me and Centene will be bankrupt. Yikes!

Our Old Age Pension systems and some housing subsidies and our national medical insurance are the things that still make me grateful to be Canadian, as a 78 year old with nothing but my government pensions. We still have medical insurance even if we lose our jobs. BIG DIFFERENCE! It's made us a kinder country. I've never had to worry even when I was poor if I had an accident or illness it won't bankrupt me. Broken arm, broken cheek bone, hernia operation, cataracts removed all this over 50 years of life and I never had to pay out of pocket for more than some prescriptions. A car sideswiped me in 2023 and gave me a nasty gash on the forehead: ambulance, hospital, scan and X-ray, taxi ride home, all free.

On my way to Europe, I flew through Canada. Many airline delays there, spent a night in Calgary -- and guess what? Canadians really are NICE. I was impressed.

I know, me too.. brain surgery and everything thing that goes with it, tests, MRI’s, operating room filled with specialists, hospital stay, staples removed another MRI, neurosurgeon visits x 2.. and more ,never cost me a nickel.. I am so grateful for our Medical plan.. Canadians need to start appreciating what we have here in our country..
